MPI Holdings is seeking a Commodity Trader to join its busy office set in a beautiful countryside location.

MPI is recruiting to expand the internal sales team – you will have a real passion for sales and owning the complete sales cycle from purchase to sale.

The Role

Joining the team as a Commodity Trader, you will be focusing on B2B sales and purchasing on a global level. Liaising with our international Producers and customers. You will be eager to seek new business on both sides of the sales cycle. Using your drive for sales – you will use your consultive selling and buying skills to complete deals, maintain and grow revenue streams.

Success in this role will require you to take on responsibility for everything from the initial account relationship to meeting revenue objectives and performance metrics.

UK and International travel to visit clients and attend external industry events is required.

Candidate Requirements

The right candidate will ideally have / be (however full training will be given)

• Previous experience in B2B Sales ia an advantage
• Industry knowledge is an advantage
• Demonstrated success and sustained record of meeting and exceeding sales goals / quotas
• A real can do attitude
• Advanced Excel Skills is an advantage
• Excellent communication
• Within 45 / 50 minutes of RH17 Postcode
• The ability to work well under pressure and to deadlines
• Due to location, a full UK driving license and own transport is essential
• French speaking / Second language an advantage

Duties to include but not limited to;

• Maintaining current revenue and developing new revenue streams
• Meet and exceed sales targets given
• Maximise sales and commercial opportunities
• Regularly report to the Sales Manger

Hours and Salary

The role is a full time role between. Monday – Friday 08.30 – 17:00. MPI offer a competitive salary, profit sharing, medical insurance and free parking. Immediate start for the right candidate.
