The Planning Department is currently seeking a part-time, permanent Service Support Technician to work in our fast paced, innovative and supportive team.
Previous experience of Development Management/Planning is desirable but not essential. We believe this is an exciting opportunity that would suit an individual who enjoys working in a stimulating, customer focused environment, who has an eye for detail and accuracy, and is looking for a new challenge.
The work of the Planning Support Team is varied, including registering and advertising applications using IT systems bespoke to the service, researching and answering Planning related queries in e-mails and over the phone, and providing a wide range of administrative support to the Planning team.
Full in-house training will be provided, but you should be willing to learn new skills, and able to utilise these to provide an excellent service to our customers.
Team members predominantly work from home, but do occasionally attend the office in Torquay. You would need to be able to do the same.
