Control Panel Wireman/woman

WT Products is a long standing control panel manufacturer and automation company based in Leeds. We have built up a large client base over the years working in many different industries. We build, install and commission systems worldwide and are currently looking for a control panel wirer to join our fast paced and ever growing workforce.

The ideal candidate would be capable of the following activities...

• Understand and follow component layout drawings
• Understand and follow electrical schematic drawings
• Mark and fit out backplate as per panel design drawings
• Accurately cut out doors and enclosures to suit the required components
• Be able to wire a control panel from start to finish following all documentation

Skills that would be a good fit...

• A good understanding of electrical principles
• Knowledge and ability to identify a wide range of control panel components
• Able to accurately measure and fit out panel following dimensional drawings
• Competent in the use of battery powered tools to accurately drill and cut out enclosures
• Able to cut, strip and crimp cables up to 120mm²
• Able to follow correct component torque requirements
• Take pride in their work which results in high standards

Starting pay is negotiable depending on skills and experience.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £12.00-£14.00 per hour
