Control room Operative

Our Wolverhampton site are now recruiting for a Control Room Operative on a full time basis.

Salary: £23589

Working hours: 4 on 4 off

The purpose of a Control Room Operative is to assist the Control Room with faults on the Warehouse System and undertake Warehouse Operative duties as required.

Key Duties of a Control Room Operative:

• Assisting Control Room with faults on the Warehouse system
• Knowing which cameras relate to which part of the system and operating accordingly
• Effectively using data to control the system, rectifying faults and directing areas to correct area of the system
• Identifying and effectively escalating issues / problems to either the Technicians, Team Leaders or Shift Managers
• Competently communicating using different methods (i.e. phone or radio) in order to instruct other staff of tasks that need to be completed
• Ensuring adherence to Health & Safety rules within the working environment
• Communicating regularly with Team Leader / Shift Manager regarding any issues that may arise within the warehouse
• Adhering to the clean as you go policy with a special focus on the Company’s recycling and waste management program
• Undertaking further Warehouse Operative duties as requested by Supervisor / Manager, eg. assisting the Warehouse Team Leader in the warehouse; picking; marshalling; cleaning; goods-in and pallet checking

• A strong working knowledge of WMS systems
• Able to work effectively under pressure
• Competent in verbal and numerical reasoning
