Control Room Operator

Full- (in-house) technical training is provided with regard to supporting our monitoring and technical support services within the Control Room Operations department based in Romford.

We are looking for someone who is confident when speaking with customers on the phone, is competent in following processes, and takes direct and decisive action to any technical challenge that may arise.

Ensuring continued operations of unmanned fuel stations with two-way communications between the site and the monitoring station, fulfilling the operational authorization of a fuel sale whilst ensuring the safety and integrity of the site operations at all times.

• Fuel court ANPR detection validation.
• CCTV perimeter monitoring.
• Technical administration. (System updates, System Housekeeping, fault finding)
• 1st line call handling, logging, support & escalation for customer CCTV, Intruder, and fire systems.
• Technical Support to retail customers managed systems.
• Covering an out-of-hours shift pattern of Evenings, Nights, and Weekends (including bank holidays) - Overtime paid at time and a half.

(Typical shift pattern.) 3 days 07:00 to 16:00, followed by 3 evenings 16:00 to 22:00 then 3 days off.
