Cook/Kitchen Assistant

Tides Bistro is a very busy seaside location restaurant situated on Cromer Pier.

You need to be able to cope well under pressure and remain calm. Previous experience in a commercial kitchen is preferred. This is a great opportunity to work alongside and learn from our fantastic qualified chefs.

The role will include:

• Frying / prep work / plating food
• Opening checks and preparation
• Health and safety Checks
• Customer interaction
• Meeting Food safety regulations
• Food hygiene certification

Minimum of 16 hours per week, up to full-time.

Job Duties:

• Prepare all food items as directed in a calm, clean and timely manner
• Operate standard kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
• Adhere to all food hygiene standards, Maintain a clean working station whilst adhering to health & safety standards
• Assist with the cleaning and organization of kitchen and equipment
• Check stock and carry out weekly orders
