Job Description

Areas of Responsibility

  • Work closely with the Market Director in developing marketing and commercial strategies and business plan in Market in line with the overall company strategy to ensure meeting sales targets.
  • Monitor trends and maintain knowledge about current industry updates, industry practices, laws and regulation, and monitor local and federal regulations.
  • Perform market assessment research and analysis (threats and opportunities).
  • Conduct market research and analysis to create detailed business plans on commercial opportunities (expansion, business development etc.)
  • Guide business development by driving and identify new business opportunities and technology. Identify potential revenue streams to improve business operations/ sales to ensure competitiveness among competitors.
  • Lead relationship building with industry players and develop strategies to leverage network for business opportunities and partnerships. Performance Management and Operations
  • Oversee the execution of organization’s strategy across all channels and managing the team to ensure successful execution in timely and effective manner.
  • Manage and oversee daily departmental operations (trade engagement, invoices, co-ops, events, reports, etc.)
  • Create departmental SOPs to ensure coordinated process and smooth operations.
  • Monitor departmental performance and prepare periodic reports on the performance of the department to the HQ.
  • Track, measure and analyze the performance of commercial activities and KPIs and make sure the budget spend is delivering a return on investment.
  • Manage and track expenditures, financial goals and budgets in coordination with HQ.
  • Reviewing and developing operational process to improve performance and maximize growth.

Qualifications

  • Previous working experience as commercial head/manager at a senior for 10 years or more.
  • Proven experience in sales and/or marketing and managing relationships with key tourism players.
  • In-depth knowledge and experience in creating commercial and marketing strategies.
  • In-depth knowledge of market research methods and analysis.
  • Solid knowledge of performance reporting and financial/budgeting processes.
  • Commercial awareness partnered with a strategic mindset

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: £68,900.00 per year

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday
