Customer Service Team Member

We are currently recruiting for a talented customer service assistant / Team Member to work at our Rio Bingo Club in Canvey Island. You will need to be friendly, enthusiastic, and passionate about delivering excellent customer service and standards.

The Role

• Meeting and greeting Customers
• Providing help and assistance to customers
• Selling Bingo Books/packages
• Giving change
• Providing customer service on the bingo hall floor
• Ensuring all fruit machines are kept clean and presentable
• Serving/preparing food and beverages
• A willingness to call bingo once you have been fully trained in this area
• Any other duties to support the smooth running of the Club

The Person

• Customer service experience (ideally in bingo or in the hospitality/entertainment industry)
• Good communication skills
• Cash handling experience
• Experience of working with food and beverages (preferred)
• A good work ethos:

• Punctual
• Hard working
• And have a smart appearance

The Pay and Hours

This is a permanent position, working around 20 hours per week with a minimum rate of pay of £9.50 per hour. Actual working days and hours to be determined at interview.

We operate a fully flexible working pattern over 7 days and our main bingo sessions tend to be evenings from around 5.30pm with afternoon working usually between 11am and 3pm.

Please note that due to the requirements of our Gambling Licence, all applicants must be aged 18 or over.
