If you have a passion for Cyber Security, we have an exciting opportunity in our Digital Group within the Operations Division to undertake a Level 6 Cyber Security Technology Professional Apprenticeship.
Dstl Digital Group (DDG) provide the essential digital tools and expertise that enables DSTL to deliver cutting edge Science and Technology. We have a multi-faceted role supporting not just Dstl, but also MOD, its agencies, the wider defence community and Other Government Departments (OGDs). You will have the opportunity to learn from colleagues who are experts in their field, work with industrial & academic partners, and gain insights that can only come from real world experience.

In this role you will follow apprentice standard ST0409 Cyber Security Technical Professional (integrated degree) and upon completion will receive a BSC (Hons) Cyber Security Technical Professional Degree and formally recognised for entry to Institute of Information Security Professionals membership at Associate level. This course in done as blending learning which mean it will be a mixture of online and in person learning. This role start September 2023. You must be 18 to work at Dstl, therefore you must turn 18 before September 2023 to apply for the apprenticeship.
Our work in defence, security and intelligence requires our employees to be UK Nationals who are able to gain a high level of security clearance to undertake the projects we are involved in to protect us from security threats. For this reason, only UK Nationals will be able to apply for this role. If you are an international or dual-national candidate, and you think you have the skills we need, please consider applying to any of our government, security or defence partners.
This role will require full UK security clearance and you should have resided in the UK for the past 5 years. For some roles Developed Vetting will also be required, in this case you should have resided in the UK for the past 10 years.
