THE OPPORTUNITY

TechInsights is looking for a Data Analyst to work closely with the Architecture and Engineering teams. In this role you will, design and implement structured and unstructured data systems, ETL flows, and Business Intelligence (BI) based dashboards for both internal reporting and end-customer deliverables. As the Data Analyst you will act as the technical glue between software developers, engineers, and data systems, providing stewardship of the Platform’s data concerns.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Create data solutions to meet Platform requirements
  • Design and implement BI dashboards, structured or unstructured data systems, and ETL flows using custom or off-the-shelf solutions
  • Review and refine Platform requirements with the Technical Product Managers
  • Build and retain all data intellectual property for the Platform
• Provide DevOps Support
  • Provide end-customer technical support to Platform users
  • Participate in customer calls to gather input and refine requirements
• Collaborate with software engineers and development teams to realize data systems
  • Coordinate with the software engineering and architecture teams, providing information on technical investigations into customer requirements, and make associated recommendations

WHO YOU ARE

• Post-secondary education in Computer or Data Science or a related discipline, or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of experience as a Data Analyst with demonstrable experience in Business Intelligence (BI)
• Experience participating in complex software projects
• Experience in an Agile environment
• Experience working with end customers
• Background in building data systems, ideally in a SaaS environment
• Knowledge of data and software concepts and applications, with hands-on experience developing data systems
• Knowledge of data and software architecture
• Strong critical thinking skills including the ability to recognize underlying issues and implications of decisions or courses of action
• Well-organized with strong attention to detail
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
