An exciting opportunity to grow your skills
Love accurate data?
We are looking for someone with attention to detail who loves to handle data and can work with colleagues across the Council to improve data quality and create a strong performance culture within the Council - are you who we’re looking for?
The Role
As a Data Quality Officer within the Adult Social Care (ASC) Performance Team, you’ll support the ASC service to maintain a client database system of accurate, timely data.
You’ll form relationships with colleagues across the council to address data quality. You’ll identify where data entry is inaccurate, look for trends of common data inaccuracies, and administer solutions to improve data quality. This will include working with Systems & Performance Teams, and could include solutions such as delivering targeting training or cleansing sessions with service colleagues.
It is an exciting time to work within the Performance sector for ASC, with the introduction of a number of new reforms and a new statutory return. We are recruiting to a 1-year fixed term position to support the Adult Social Care Service, Performance and Systems teams to create and maintain a performance culture where data is recorded in a timely and accurate fashion on adult social care case management systems, where the meaning and importance of good data quality is understood and where data is understood and used to support service decision-making and data required for statutory returns.
Primary tools used are LiquidLogic Adults System, ContrOCC and Microsoft Excel.
You’ll work from home most of the time, with travel into Bexleyheath at least once a week and for meetings and training. We have a modern office, close to parking, stations and the A2.
