The role …

We are seeking an experienced, motivated, and focused Data Scientist to join the Data Science team in our Marketing function.

The aim of the Data Science team is to empower all Radius divisions with smart insights to drive strategy and decision-making in Marketing and Sales operations. We aim to deliver such insights through deploying predictive models, performing market segmentation analysis, etc.

We are looking for a Data Scientist who will help build, deploy, and maintain Machine Learning models across different systems and data environments. The ideal Data Scientist would be curious about data and creative in deriving insights and features for Machine Learning models.

The role will report to the Head of Group Data Science and will be located at the group’s head office in Crewe, Cheshire, with some remote work.

What would your day to day look like?

• 
  Using data analytics to provide insights that aid strategic decision-making within the business
• Working on initiatives for all of Radius’ products - Fuel, Telematics, Telecoms, Insurance, Vehicle solutions, EV, and Energy – as part of a central team
• Building predictive analytics models for Marketing and Sales to optimise conversion rate and improve return on investment and effort
• Utilising 1st party and open data to aid customer profiling and segmentation initiatives
• Deploying and maintaining ML models on our ecosystem (AWS + Redshift + DataBricks) and implementing on our CRM, Salesforce

What do we expect of you?

You will ideally have at least 2 years post-graduate experience in a Data Science role.

We’ll be looking for you to demonstrate:

• 
  Passion for driving business impact through data and insights
• Ability to manage stakeholder communication through the data science process
• Proficient in Python / R and SQL for Data Science and Data Engineering
• Good knowledge of Statistics, Applied Mathematics, and Machine Learning models
• Ability to communicate findings through presentations and dashboards
• Good organisation and time-management skills
