Job description

We are looking for a part time day care assistant, who is personable and professional with both our clients and their dogs. The core hours needed would be Saturday and Sunday 7am-3pm or 3pm-10pm with additional days in the week to cover days off/holiday/sickness, this will change with the rota and will be seasonal.

The role will include feeding, looking after the dogs within our day care facility, keeping the dogs engaged in activities, collecting poo regularly and you will also be asked to clean/tidy areas of the day care and wash/dry the dogs in our spa and hand them over to their owners on collection.

The role also includes opening/closing the facility, locking up and alarming etc alongside sending messages and engaging with clients in whatsapp group chats.

Our ideal candidate (Please read and understand every point):

• Confident and calm around dogs and in a fast paced environment.
• Impeccably well presented and spoken.
• High level of customer service.
• Your passion for dogs must be clear, but more than that you must be reliable, responsible and punctual.
• Living within 20 minutes of our day care centre is preferred.
• The role will be paid hourly for the time you are working on site.
• Comfortable working as a self-employed sole trader.
• Be contactable throughout the day, by management/colleagues/clients.
• Practical in thought as well as physically.
• Able to work outside in all conditions.

Job Type: Part-time
Part-time hours: 16-38 per week

Salary: From £10.50 per hour
