The role of DCM Analyst is really important to us. You will support the Debt Capital Markets team with the planning and execution of secured and unsecured funding activities on behalf of Aldermore Group. You will report into the Debt Capital Markets Manager, who will be your line manager.

As part of this role we will support you in completing your Chartered Financial Analyst apprenticeship through levels 1-3. This qualification will be undertaken during your first 36 months in role and you will be provided with appropriate study time during working hours. The qualification is fully funded by Aldermore.

What would your day look like?

• Playing your part in the team on funding related transactions involving stakeholder management, aspects of project management and working in a fast-paced environment.
• Data analysis, cashflow modelling and producing outputs derived from detailed data analysis.
• Working closely with the DCM Middle Office team to deliver successful post deal reporting outcomes, assist with on-going monitoring of transactions against triggers and limits.
• Assisting with reporting and management of existing collateral held at the Bank of England for the purpose of participation in the Sterling Monetary Framework.
• Engaging with internal stakeholders for the purposes of presentation decks for investors and rating agencies.
• Liaising with the wider Finance & Treasury teams responding to queries and data requests on behalf of the DCM team

What do we expect of you?

• A demonstratable interest and passion for treasury/capital markets.
• Knowledge of Mortgage, SME, Consumer Lending, Auto Financing, or other financial services.
• An analytical, detail oriented mid-set. Highly numerate, with strong technical and advanced excel skills.
• Sound understanding of working in a strong control bank environment.
• A willingness to take responsibility for the quality and timeliness of their work.
• A curious mindset, and commitment to follow through with products
• Desire to learn and involve oneself with multiple facets of a UK bank.
