Defensive Driver Trainer (ADI)

Our firm is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Driver Trainer with experience in instructing in cars, vans and pick up's.

The ideal candidate is required to be a DVSA ADI and will be able to train students on defensive driver training courses throughout Scotland on a governmental framework agreement. The successful Driver Trainer will be willing to travel, since he or she will be required to visit a new location each week and stay away from Monday through Thursday where necessary.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure that trainees complete all driving courses under supervision.
• Communicate with learners in a friendly manner and act as a role model.
• Conduct both classroom instruction and practical training in safe driving techniques.
• Be able to correct and dissuade trainees from dangerous driving behaviour.
• Explain the benefits of safe driving to learners and emphasise the importance of following all driving rules and regulations.
• Conduct post assessment critique to students and written reports back to company weekly

Salary: £25.00 per hour
