Digital Print Press Operator

Gemini Print is inviting applications for the role of Digital Print Operator to print to a high-quality specification using the company’s Digital presses – including the new HP Indigo 100k B2 press in addition to the HP Indigo 7800 B3 press.

This role is based at our Head Office in Shoreham by Sea, West Sussex, (in reach of public transport, in addition to parking availability) Gemini Print has been providing outstanding print solutions and client service for more than 50 years and is widely regarded as one of the leading eco friendly printers in the UK. The team are proud of their quality focus achieving Accreditations, Certifications, and Awards, – plus long trusted relationships with clients and partners.

Key responsibilities:

• Full understanding of how to operate, maintain, and service digital presses.
• Good eye for colour and excellent attention to detail.
• Must be able to meet deadlines.
• Help maintain a high level of safety, cleanliness, and organisation around the workplace.
• Comply with all Company Policies and HSE Health and Safety rules.
• To abide by and support the company’s ISO 14001 environmental accreditation.

Advantageous:

• Experience with HP Indigo presses
• Understanding Tharstern MIS software
• Understanding Kodak Prinergy software

Hours:

Hours are based on a 36 hours per week, working 4-night shifts, Monday to Thursday moving forward into a Continental Shift Pattern.
