Direct Care Nurse - Nights

Pay Rate: £30.25 - £34.75
Location: Mid-Essex

Cera are currently recruiting a qualified Direct Care Nurse to work with our client in Mid-Essex; Basildon, Southend, Grays, Colchester or Chelmsford. This role is community-based and will provide care to enable our client to live as independent a lifestyle as possible.

This Care Service will involve a programme of personal and nursing care that is personalised for each client in the form of a Care Plan.

Care duties may therefore include assisting the client with the following activities and in so doing will at all times observe and respect the client's dignity, privacy and independence as far as practical:

• Medication Administration
• Dietary Care
• Dressing and undressing/preparing the client for Day Care or trips out.
• Washing/bathing/showering/shaving/grooming/cleaning teeth.
• Toileting and all aspects of personal hygiene.
• Continence management.
• Helping with rehabilitation programmes, as prescribed by Healthcare professionals.
• Assisting with household management such as cleaning.
• Administrative duties to ensure compliance with policies and procedures laid down by the organisation in respect of these duties.

Requirements:

• A current and valid NMC PIN
• Before you join Cera, we will need to complete a compliance checklist including a DBS check
• Driving license and access to a vehicle is essential
• You must have a valid and in date right to work in the UK
