Lancashire Highways Service is responsible for the direct delivery of all highway related schemes across the County made up of 4,300 miles of road, 151,000 streetlights and 2,955 bridges
We have an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic District Lead Officer Grade 6. Due to Covd-19 we are currently working home based, the role under normal circumstances would be office based at the Cuerden Depot in Bamber Bridge. The post offered is permanent, our normal business office working hours are from 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday, this helps ensure there is adequate telephone coverage during these times.
You will be the lead officer managing multiple districts, administering the highway casework of county council Members, MP's, District and Parish Councillors, in addition to administering customer complaints and FOI requests. Working alongside technical officers and other members of the District Lead Team, you will ensure that issues are thoroughly investigated, and outcomes are communicated in a customer focused and timely manner.
