**Dog Walker Required**

I’m looking for a dog walker to join the team to cover established walks, with a view to growing your diary further. Looking for the right person to start as soon as possible, after a period of shadowing to get to know the dogs and the walks.

This is a fantastic opportunity to take control of your own career, earnings & the hours you work.

Ideally you will have the following attributes:

- Live in Hereford
- Passionate about dogs/your own dog
- Excellent time management
- Organised
- Extremely reliable
- Your own suitable transport
- Social media savvy
- Relevant canine qualifications
- Self employed

Full training will be given over a set period. During this time you will be accompanied on walks, learn the routes, meet the dogs & owners and get a good understanding of how we work. (Please note, you need to be confident with all breeds, can react quickly and understand dog body language.)

If you don’t mind being battered by the rain & wind and enjoy the sunshine, you are physically fit, confident and can catch a moving dog if needs be or have the bribery skills, then get in touch!

Part-time hours: 20 per week

Salary: £20.00-£60.00 per day

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• Weekend availability

• Please describe in your own words what you would do should two dogs you were walking became aggressive to each other?
• What would you do if a dog ran off whilst in your care on a walk?
• Most walks are done between the hours of 9 - 3pm. Would those hours be suitable to you?
• Will you be willing to provide a DBS and take the relevant dog walking insurance out should you be successful?
• We need to make sure the dogs are transported safely. Would you be willing to modify your car to make sure there was a dog guard and a divider in place?
