Doggy day care assistant

URGENT: MUST BE ABLE TO START INSTANTLY!

Hiya! Dachabout are looking for doggy daycare assistant to join our small team. This is a full time position Monday - Friday (10:30am - 3:30pm) at our countryside daycare retreat. You will arrive first at the field to set all up and prepare for the arrival of a bunch of happy doggies! Once the dogs arrive at the farm you will spend your day enriching the dogs, supervising their interactions, feeding, playtime and training. You are in charge of keeping our equipment clean and ensuring the dogs go home happy and sleepy. You will also pitch in with the day-to-day tasks that come with working at a day care. Contribute to our social media efforts. Dog lovers and the clients in particular - always want to know what sort of fun the dogs are having. You can find us on Instagram.

If you are the right person for our job, you will need to show us the following:

• First, foremost, and unsurprisingly, you are crazy about dogs and be a capable handler of them.

• You are passionate about animal care. You do not necessarily need to have had prior professional experience though as we will provide training for the right candidate. However, animal-related experience and/or qualifications would be an advantage.

• You will be part of a close-knit group of dog lovers, so being a good team player is essential.
• You are happy to spend time in the great outdoors irrespective of the weather – rain or shine, hot or cold - and you are physically capable.
• You will need to have common sense, be 110% reliable and not have a criminal record. We will also ask you to provide us with references and you will be police-checked.
