Domestic Cleaner / Housekeeper

We are seeking a Domestic Cleaner / Housekeeper to help us organise and manage our four-bedroom home on Shipton Road.

We are looking for someone with experiences as a domestic cleaner or housekeeper with a "can-do" attitude, an eye for detail, and the ability to work on their own initiative.

The role will typically involve cleaning, laundry, and ironing, with occasional ad-hoc duties and errands.

It would be ideal if you are a driver with your own transport, but this is not essential: our home is located on Shipton Road, which is on many bus routes, and is a 20-minute walk from the centre of York.

The days/hours are flexible for the right candidate, but we are considering 15 per week: Monday to Friday, 10am to 1pm, or 12 hours per week: Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, 10am to 2pm. If you are a keen cook, we may be able to offer you additional hours if you are interested in helping us in the kitchen.

We are keen to work with someone with a long-term view: there are only two of us at the moment, but we hope the role will grow alongside our family in the next few years.
