Driver Assistant

Castell Howell Foods is Wales’ leading independent food service wholesaler, servicing the length and breadth of Wales, the Border Counties and the South West of England. We currently have vacancies for Driver Assistants based at our Cross Hands depot.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

The role of a Driver Assistant is a physical one, carrying goods from our delivery vehicles to customer premises. Castell Howell supplies 1000’s of catering products to the hospitality, catering, retail, education and healthcare sectors. Our Driver Assistants need to be reliable, punctual and physically fit. This role requires an early start time (usually between 05.00–06.00am), you will be fully provided with training, uniform and PPE.

Many or our Drivers Assistants progress to be van or HGV drivers after a period of proving their ability as an Assistant.

We are currently seeking employees to work on a zero hours basis.
