We have an opportunity for a Driver to join their team of staff in the Decontamination department based in Glasgow

This is a bank role working on an “as and when required” basis, you will be required to supplement staffing levels during busy periods and provide cover for existing staff in times of annual leave or absence.

Applicants should meet the following criteria:

• Full clean UK driving licence
• Previous experience of driving vans with tail lifts
• Good interpersonal skills
• Good level of general education
• Flexible and approachable
• Ability to work as a team member
• Ability to work on own initiative

Duties of this role include:

• To provide reliable and courteous delivery / pick-up service to BMI Hospital Decontamination customers with safety a top priority
• To provide a communication link between customers and the unit workforce (where necessary and appropriate)
• To operate and maintain assigned vehicle(s); and to maintain vehicle and any other assigned records
