E-Commerce and Social Media Intern

About the role

The opportunity is to join the E-commerce and Social Media team, as an intern for an initial three to six month period with the opportunity to obtain a permanent position. You will also work closely with the live-streaming team and the business as a whole.

The company is looking for a talented individual to support the work of the high achieving E-commerce and Social Media team. Reporting to one of the Founders of the company, this is a varied and interesting role, which will support the business' growth and ensure the business keep thinking like an e-tailer - Focused on ensuring the site looks fantastic, product is well merchandised, performance is regularly reviewed, and the business perform as well as it could through its live-streams and short videos.

You will work with one of the Founders to ensure that the short- video content, stock and operations of the livestream are fully optimised. You will also support the analysis and promotional activity, ensuring slow moving, low demand, or high "cost to store" stock is moved quickly and efficiently through the business.

Supporting the E-commerce and Social Media team, you will help ensure there is total synergy when it comes to the movement of stock. Raising visibility around stock arrivals and stock popularity/ demand, you will also shoot and edit promotional videos for products as well as on brand content. This part of the role is integral, as it will help ensure that the channel will reach targeted audiences and increase conversion.

The role will provide a learning experience in a rewarding and dynamic environment and prove a great basis from which to work in e-commerce or social media.

Essential Skills

• Strong administrative and IT skills, ideally experience of using databases
• Strong background in photo and video-editing in order to generate daily content for our channel(s)
• Excellent written communication skills
• Strong research, numerical and analytical skills
• Well organised and able to prioritise a busy workload
• Articulate and able to communicate effectively with a wide range of people
• Keen and willing to carry out day-to-day administrative tasks
• Passion for entrepreneurialism
• Aligned with the companies values of kindness, togetherness, integrity, and innovation
• Demonstrable interest in the charity sector, corporate responsibility, social enterprise area of work

You would have ideally studied an E-commerce or business related degree but applicants from any discipline at University that has an enthusiasm to want to join a growing organisation will be considered.

Job Types: Full-time, Internship

Salary: £800.00-£1,200.00 per month
