E-Commerce Assistant

Photonic Universe Ltd is a well established supplier of solar power products based in Orpington, South-East London. We provide solar panels, solar electronic equipment, solar charging kits, solar lighting systems, off-grid household solar systems and other solar power solutions for various applications to UK and European customers. We are currently looking for an E-commerce Assistant to join our experienced team. You will be responsible for creating new and maintaining existing product listings and content on our website and other e-commerce distribution channels. A successful applicant needs to be able to write easily and enjoy writing, understand the technologies and be able to translate product specifications into clear, concise and easy-to-read descriptions that help with the sales.

The role is based in our office in Orpington, South East London (postcode BR5 3QB). Standard working hours 9am-6pm Mon-Fri.

Responsibilities and duties

• Write clear, concise and distinctive product listings;
• Ensure product and catalogue consistency across sales channels, help with product photos and image processing;
• Run product promotion campaigns;
• Produce or amend supporting materials for products (datasheets, leaflets, catalogues);
• Contribute to the updates and development of the website and social media content;
• Help with the marketing, advertisement and social media.

Requirements

• Relevant work experience (with a technical focus) is preferable;
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Writing / copywriting experience would be an advantage;
• Great attention to detail;
• Excellent interpersonal skills;
• Interest in technology.
