This Adjutant position is located at East of Scotland Universities Air Squadron (ESUAS), The Holmes Building, Leuchars Station, St Andrews, Fife, KY16 0JX. ESUAS Admin support is a small but dynamic team that provides support to student members and local staff. The ESUAS Adjutant is a demanding job with the requirement to be able to think on your feet and act accordingly without supervision. The successful candidate must be able to perform under pressure and provide solutions using their own initiative. Attention to detail and forward thinking are very important. We are looking for someone with a strong emotional intelligence to communicate effectively, empathise with others, overcome challenges and defuse conflict.
This position is advertised at 37 hours per week.
Responsibilities
ESUAS covers a large geographic area and some travel will be required (Circa 2 days per month). Management conference across the UK circa 1 x per year. There are also Training Nights most term time Thursdays which you would be expected to attend.
All University Air Squadrons are developing understanding and delivery of virtual membership, training, marketing and recruitment. Whilst not directly linked to this role, knowledge and experience of the digital landscape towards marketing via social media, photo/video editing is desirable as we evolve digitally.
