Electrical Design Engineer (Arcade Games)

Sega Amusements International Ltd. are currently looking for an experienced Electrical Engineer to join an expanding Electrical Design team.

This is a new role and would be perfect for a Engineer with a background in mechanical/electrical assemblies looking to join an industry leader who design, develop and manufacture coin operated Electro-mechanical & Video amusement products. Using knowledge to design Electronic/ Electrical product specific peripherals with particular emphasis on preventing EMC and general compliance issues. Develop and execute compliance testing and completing documentation.

Although based in Cardiff this role will involve some UK and international travel and therefore a full driving licence is essential.

KEY DUTIES

• Create & maintain Electrical Wiring Schematic Diagrams.
• Design Wire Harnesses and Cable assembly drawings.
• Build & test prototype Wire Harness assemblies.
• Build & test, Development Kits & Prototype cabinets.
• The specification and sourcing of Power Supplies.
• Interface Audio components, Lighting drivers & proprietary electronics.
• Maintain Bills of Materials.
• Provide technical support for Production, Planning, Service and Purchasing departments.

Advantageous Skills Profile:

• Qualified to a minimum of HND Level 5 or equivalent
• Proven experience in Electronics design.
• Experience in Product Development/ Manufacturing.
• Full Driving Licence

Salary: £28,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
