Professional Engineering Services Ltd is looking for a highly competent individual to join our team. As an Approved Electrician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in hazardous environments.
Responsibilities:
- Perform electrical installations, maintenance, and repairs in compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
- Conduct inspections, testing, and certification of electrical equipment and systems.
- Assess risks and implement necessary safety measures to ensure a secure work environment.
- Collaborate with clients, colleagues, and subcontractors to deliver high-quality electrical services.
- Maintain accurate records of work activities and adhere to company policies and procedures.
- Stay updated with industry advancements, regulations, and best practices.
Requirements:
- CompEx certification preferred but not essential.
- Proven experience as an Approved Electrician, preferably in hazardous environments.
- In-depth knowledge of electrical systems, equipment, and components.
- Familiarity with relevant regulations and standards (e.g., IEC, ATEX, BS 7671).
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and specifications.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
