ER Specialist Case Manager (HR Specialist)

Job Introduction

The BBC ER Specialist Case Management Team (Support at Work) are responsible for providing support and guidance to Colleagues who raise concerns about bullying, harassment, discrimination and equal pay matters. The Team ensure Colleagues are supported and their concerns are managed appropriately in line with BBC Policy and Wellbeing support services.

We have an opportunity for an experienced ER Case Manager to join the team, for this eight month fixed-term contract, which can be based in London or Birmingham.

Main Responsibilities

As a Case Manager, you'll be working on a number of cases at any one time;

Key responsibilities will include:

• Provide advice and guidance and support formal sensitive & complex cases

• Look for opportunities where the matter could be resolved informally via Mediation (where appropriate)

• Ensure all individuals involved in the matter have the necessary emotional and wellbeing support in place

• Where required, manage the formal case cycle and coordinate the case management process in line with BBC Policy.

Are you the right candidate?

The successful candidate will have a significant track record of managing complex Employee Relations cases (case management) and practical experience of managing the matter ensuring risk, impact and wellbeing is assessed throughout the case life cycle and stakeholders are updated throughout.

A good understanding of the ACAS Code of Practice and Employment Case Law is essential with the ability to quickly build rapport in a compassionate way with Colleagues.
