About us

Vortex Gigs hosts music events in the U.K. and was founded in 2022. We're a growing events company looking to expand.

We are looking for an experienced, passionate and fun-loving professional to join Vortex Gigs. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of events, from research to pre-planning to on-site execution. We're seeking a creative, dedicated and personable individual who can work well under pressure and is able to set the tone for our exciting festival. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to make a huge impact on our company.

(Although this is a remote working role, very occasional travel to Cardiff may be required. Therefore, applicants within a commutable distance will be preffered)

Responsibilities:

  • Liaise with all clients, sponsors, vendors and talent to coordinate logisitcs and maintain relationships.
  • Create and book the festival lineup.
  • Contact potential vendors and sell pitch packages.
  • Identify and reach out to potential sponsors and sell sponsorship packages.
  • Oversee event setup and manage operations to ensure everything runs smoothly.
  • Any other relevant duties that may be required from time to time for event preperations and delivery.

Requirements:

  • At least 3 years event coordinator experience.
  • Previous experience with vendor hiring, securing event sponsorship, and booking talent.
  • A Levels or higher education required.
  • Cardiff based or within a commutable distance. (preffered)

Job Type: Part-time
Part-time hours: 24 per week

Salary: £14.00 per hour
