Summary
This is an exciting opportunity to be a part of Climate Week NYC, one of the leading global climate events that takes place each year in New York. The role will sit across three main activities, speaker management, speaker onsite engagement and delegate management of a roundtable series.
This role provides the opportunity for someone to become an integral part of our team, and to move forwards our work to a high standard. The candidate will get the opportunity to work across the organisation and to coordinate the onsite activities for senior figures in the worlds largest corporations plus heads of state and regional governments all of who have the combined ambition to tackle climate change.
It is essential for the candidate to be pro-active and have strong attention to detail. We are looking for someone who is comfortable contacting senior stakeholders and taking ownership of their work.

About the role
We are seeking a proactive and motivated Events Speaker and Marketing Officer to support our events team in delivering Climate Week NYC, the largest climate event of its kind and one of the leading climate events globally. The role will sit across three main activities, speaker management, speaker onsite engagement and delegate management of a roundtable series.
Climate Week NYC attracts over 150 high-profile speakers from the worlds largest corporations plus heads of state and regional governments and civil society. The successful candidate will support our content managers is being a point of contact for senior level speakers once they have confirmed to participate in the event.

Youll be based in our London head office near Tower Bridge (SE1 2NQ), a 12-minute walk from London Bridge station and enjoy the benefits of flexible and hybrid working: 3 days in the office and 2 days from home.

The building also offers a well-equipped gym, secure bike parking and showers.
Occasional international travel will be required.

This is a full-time fixed term position for 5-months. The salary offered is £26,370 - £32,950 per annum, based on experience.
