Were growing rapidly and as a result were looking for a C++ Programmer to join our studio in Middlesbrough (UK), home to both coast and countryside. As a Programmer at Double Eleven, youll be part of an incredible team of developers working on a port of an established and very well known game.

In this role you will set up camp at our HQ in Middlesbrough. We are continuing to assess the covid-19 situation, and our studio is set-up with the necessary covid-19 support measures to keep our teams safe. The wellbeing of our teams is at the heart of everything we do, and we are keen that all our teams feel safe and reassured.

Strictly no agencies (sorry guys!) and were unable to sponsor a visa for this role. We can support UK relocation and have a dedicated People team on standby to assist you and your family with every step to us.

WHAT YOULL BE DOING:

• Implement graphical rendering techniques and effects
  

• Work closely with other departments to create or improve art asset creation and workflow
• Sharing of graphics knowledge with other members of the programming team
• Work as part of a small but perfectly formed close-knit team, where your opinion and efforts count

WHAT WERE LOOKING FOR:

• 5+ years experience in the games industry
• Enthusiasm for graphics programming, technologies and methods, as well as a desire to keep up to date with latest trends
• Demonstrable expertise in the field Expert knowledge of vertex, pixel, and compute shader programming
• Knowledgeable in a variety of special FX techniques
• Excellent knowledge of graphics pipelines and hardware
• Excellent C/C++ and HLSL programming knowledge
• Experience with 3D graphics APIs such as Direct3D 12, Vulkan, Gnm, Agc, Nvn
• Experience in graphics profiling and optimisation techniques
• Keen eye for detail

SKILLS OR INTERESTS CONSIDERED A BONUS:

• Knowledge of C# and / or other programming languages
• Strong math's skills GLSL programming knowledge
• Experience with multi-threaded programming Knowledge and experience of other game engines such as Unreal & Unity
• Experience with art packages
• Experience with low level optimisation
• Experience in an Agile development environment
• A love of games
