Facilities and Vehicle Maintenance Operative
Location: Lynas Foodservice, Coleraine, Head Office
Hours of work: 10.30 am to 6.30 pm
37.5 hours per week
Job Summary:
As a Vehicle Maintenance Operative you will ensure our fleet is clean, washed and topped up with ad blue allowing us to provide the best service to our customers.
Role Responsibilities:
- Power washing/brushing lorries and trailers
- Lorry shunting
- Refuelling lorries and topping up Ad Blue
- Completion of paperwork accurately and efficiently
- General maintenance and driving duties
- Adhering to the company’s health & safety procedures
- Report any safety incidents or environmental concerns to your manager
Skills and Experience Required:
- Experience of driving and reversing large machinery
- Previous experience in a similar environment
- A basic understanding of lorry maintenance, (refuelling, ad blue).
- Must be flexible and have a ‘can do’ attitude
- Highly motivated individual who can work well on their own initiative but also works well as part of a small team
- Full UK clean driving licence
- Work Nights and weekends to cover security duties
- Work 1 in 3 Saturdays
