Factory Operator - FULL-TIME- 5 days a week - 8 Hours Shift

Location : Dunstable, Houghton Regis

HOURS:

· Shift starts from 6.00AM - 2.00PM & 2.00PM - 10.00PM

· Shift rotations every week

· 40 hours per week and overtime available in addition to basic salary.

· 5 days a Week & 8 Hours Shift

HOURLY RATE : £11.20 including shift premiums

Kanwal UK Corporation LTD, is an automotive sealing supplier with almost 30 years of experience. The business is a UK leader in its field and works across a diverse range of markets and customers.

Reporting to the Production Manager, the successful candidate will operate machinery and work with the rest of the shift for the effective running of a busy department. They will follow work instructions given by the Team Leader / Production Manager to produce a product that consistently meets quality standards. With excellent training and progression opportunity available, the role is suited to somebody who is willing to learn and take their career to the next level.

WHAT YOU OFFER / ABOUT YOU

To be considered for the role you must have:

• To ensure required manufacturing outputs are achieved.
• To ensure all quality requirements are being maintained.
• To be competent in completion of setting up the manufacturing area.
• To be competent in completion of the manufacturing sheet.
• To be able to produce and verify QA Samples.
• Liaise with relevant departments.
• To be able to operate all machinery on production and manufacturing.
• Experience of H&S responsibilities within a manufacturing environment
• Ability to ensure target output is achieved with excellent quality
• Ability to comply with customer requirements quality standards.
• Ability to keep accurate documentation on all jobs.
• Self-motivated and can work under pressure
• A can-do attitude, able to overcome obstacles with a team approach
• Somebody who is flexible & who will help to support the business deliver a high-quality customer service
• Ability to follow instructions
• Excellent attendance and timekeeping
• Good practical skills
• Willing to assist trainees and other team members.
• The ability to work unsupervised and be able to use own initiative
• The ability to form good working relationships at all levels
• Physically fit (as the role is physically demanding)

The role and the requirements may change slightly depending on the successful candidate’s experience level, which in turn allows for a stretch in the salary and benefits package.
