The Balloon Tree Farm Shop & Cafe is looking for an enthusiastic individual to join its well established Farm Shop Team in the role of Shop Supervisor.
In addition to usual daily retail tasks of serving customers, processing deliveries and stock management we are looking for some who can:
- Work alongside the Farm Shop Manager to ensure effective day to day running of the department
- Ensure company standards are met and the team are suitably managed in the abscence of the Farm Shop Manager
- Delegate tasks amongst the team
- Hold an attention to detail when accepting deliveries and rotating stock
- Liase with our buyer should certain stock levels need replenishing
- Be responsible for ordering for our fresh produce department, paying attention to seasonality and quality of the stock
- Have an economical approach to ordering stock and what we are currently holding in the department
- Aiding in the development of the department and business in ways of staff training and future planning
This is a permenant role of 30 to 35 hours per week.
This role includes NO evenings and SOME but not all weekends.
Typical shift would be 8:30 am to 17:00 pm
