FARM WORKER

Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays 8.30am-4.30pm. Full-time or part-time position can be discussed.

SweetTree Fields Farm is a 14-acre care farm based in Mill Hill, NW7 that has been specially designed to create positive experiences within a safe, nurturing and social environment. We have a fantastic opportunity to recruit a Farm Worker to work at the SweetTree Farm in Mill Hill. We are looking for an enthusiastic, experienced Farm Worker who does not mind working hard and getting their hands dirty! The successful Farm Worker will have a ‘can do’ attitude.
A previous knowledge of farming and full driving licence is required for this role.
The Farm Worker duties include:

• Ensure the farm is maintained
• Feed and look after farm animals.
• Treat animals and crops to prevent disease.
• Maintenance of fields, sow seeds and harvest crops
• Operate and repair farm equipment and machinery e.g., tractors.
• Maintain farm buildings and fences
• Build agricultural structures when required

Skills and experience required:

• Previous 1 year of farm / livestock experience is required
• be physically in shape
• good communicational skills
• Full driving licence
• Willingness and commitment to hard, physical work in all weather conditions
