Female Security Officer

Are you interested in a career in the aviation sector? We are looking for Security Officers, to join our team at Liverpool Airport. This role is open to applicants who have no previous security experience and a genuine interest in aviation, customer service and security.

All necessary training will be fully paid and provided by our sector experts including support in obtaining relevant background checks. There is on-site mentoring and clear career pathways leading to specialist management roles within our team, so think big!

The Security Officer is responsible for ensuring the safe and smooth transition of passengers, staff and airport personnel whilst always maintaining the highest level of customer service and satisfaction.

Main Duties:

• Passenger Screening – Screening all passengers to the required standards
• X-Ray Screening – Screening/searching cabin & hold baggage to ensure no prohibited articles are brought in
• Access Control – Controlling of access to the aerodrome
• Patrolling –Carry out foot patrols of airside/landside locations to ensure they are secure
• Responding to and assisting with emergency situations.
• Carrying out body searches on female passengers and staff members

Essential Criteria:

• Have excellent customer service and communication skills
• Basic IT skills
• Demonstrate the ability to think and act quickly in emergencies or under pressure
• Have an ability to deliver succinct and clear verbal and written reports where necessary Demonstrate reliability including the ability to deliver high standards of both punctuality and attendance
• Able to demonstrate an ability to work as part of a team.
• Able to deal calmly and confidently with all demands from the public.
• Minimum of 3-year UK residency
• A 5-year checkable background
