Finance Assistant

A great opportunity for a Finance Assistant has become available at one of our Clients based in Northallerton. On offer is a salary of circa £25k+, alongside attractive working hours. Key responsibilities of the Finance Assistant will include:

• Completion of various reports, including month-end reports
• Monthly reconciliations
• Processing business expense returns, invoices and purchase orders
• Liaising with HMRC and ensuring that all associated deadlines are met
• Processing payroll and ensuring this is completed to the monthly deadline
• Processing statuary payments: sick pay, maternity pay, paternity pay
• General ad-hoc duties and supporting the wider finance team

We are keen to speak with candidates who have previous experience in a fast-paced, multi skilled finance role, you may be an Accounts Assistant or Finance Assistant looking to move.

Based within the Northallerton area, this role is easily commutable from surrounding areas such as Bedale, Ripon, Thirsk, Catterick and surrounding areas. One-site parking is available.

To be successful in this Finance Assistant role, you will ideally:

• Pevious experience of a busy, varied transactional finance role
• Excellent organisational and communication skills
• Hands on in approach and will be happy to help in all areas of accounts when needed
• Strong attention to detail and will be able to meet multiple deadlines under strict timeframes
• Computer literate and will ideally have experience of using Sage, Xero or Quickbooks
