• Processing and distributing purchase invoices for various departments within an agreed timetable.
• Processing invoices to general ledger accounts and cost centres.
• Creating supplier statement reconciliation on Microsoft Excel.
• Processing purchase invoices to purchase orders and good receipts where appropriate.
• Preparing large upload files from Microsoft Excel to SAP for multiple line invoices.
• Checking invoices for nature of spend and calculations and if applicable, for business VAT.
• Liaising with suppliers to chase any outstanding issues from supplier statements and payments.
• Liaising with internal departments regarding issues from supplier statements & payments.
• Accounting for all relevant taxes (mainly VAT) per our procedures and seeking advice when unsure.
• Any ad hoc duties relevant to skill set.

The ideal candidate should have previous accounts payable knowledge, with excellent organisational skills to cope with a high volume of data processing. Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and SAP would be advantageous.
