Led by the Chief Operating Officer, the centralised Finance Team are responsible for effective financial management and stewardship of the Association, and for keeping a watchful eye to ensure British
Showjumping’s financial position remains healthy and stable.
Responsible for helping to keep the financial engine of the organisation ticking over, including cash, purchase and sales transactional recording and management, the Finance Assistant aims to deliver excellent customer service to all internal and external customers whilst securing the accuracy of the organisations financial position. The Finance Assistant will be responsible for delivering financial services assistance and management to external organisations with whom British Showjumping holds a service agreement.
The successful Finance Assistant will be motivated, well organised, have a real attention to detail, and will work in close support of the Senior Finance Assistant and the Chief Operating Officer.

AAT qualified

ACA/ACCA/CIMA part qualified or equivalent

Experience of working within an Accounts team environment

Awareness and understanding of the membership sector in
✓ relation to financial procedures and the management of income and expenditure streams.
