What does the role involve?

Reporting into our Group Finance - FP&A Manager you'll be part of a small, close knit team who provide FP&A support and guidance to our group IT function. You'll take the lead on month end close activities, ensuring that they are completed in line with specified reporting deadlines and are accurate in accordance with financial reporting standards.

Some of your key duties will include:

• Lead the month end close activities, ensuring that they are complete, accurate and the relevant deadlines are met
• Ensure the efficient delivery of reporting that provides clear information on business priorities on which timely decisions can be made
• Reviewing PO requisitions to ensure the costs are within budget and confirm the accuracy of GL coding
• Ensuring we have effective, well-designed processes and controls in place that allow us to automate and simplify

Here at Novuna we have a hybrid approach to working and for this role we would like you to be based from the office 2 days per week.

What are we looking for?

You'll be someone who is naturally curious and not afraid to question and challenge expenditure to ensure budgetary controls are closely monitored. You'll have previous experience of completing month end activities and associated reporting, knowledge of IBM TM1 or Oracle Fusion would be desirable however we are open to training you on these.

Also, we're looking for the following:

• AAT, ACCA/CIMA part qualified status would be desirable however we'll also accept relevant experience
• Strong Excel skills
• The ability to take the initiative when problem solving
• A high level of attention to detail
