Our client, an established Fine Art Shipping Company are seeking to hire a Shipping Coordinator to join their expanding team in London.

Responsibilities:

• Create and maintain relations with clients including galleries, private clients, artists and auction houses
• Oversee jobs from start to finish
• Change offers into orders
• Issue and process quotes
• Supply compliant shipping documentation and instructions
• Liaise with overseas agents and partners whilst maintaining a strong relationship
• Provide assistance with exhibition, fair and project coordination
• Negotiate to help minimise services and costs when needed

Requirements:

• Previous experience working with Fine Art shipments
• An understanding of import and export processes
• Knowledge of customs, post-brexit specifications, cites, antique/art declarations, BOL and invoicing, temporary admission and compliance
• Proactive and willingness to learn
• Excellent customer service skills
• Attention to detail
