Food Production Operative Weekend

Location: Exeter outskirts, EX5. OWN TRANSPORT IS REQUIRED DUE TO THE LOCATION OF THE SITE.

Job Role: WEEKEND PRODUCTION OPERATIVE

Hours: Weekend shift, 3 days a week. Friday, Saturday & Sunday, 7am – 7pm

Hourly Salary: £11.76ph (earn up to £400 for 3 shifts)

gap personnel Exeterare recruiting for weekend production operatives on a temp to perm basis on the outskirts of Exeter. You will be joining a local company that are the leading supplier of premium sous-vide and prepared meals in the UK; they supply unique products to a broad range of foodservice providers in the travel, leisure, casual dining and hospitality sectors.

The role of a food production is varied with duties including:

• Preparing fresh meat, vegetables, spices and flavourings as per recipe
• Batch cooking of products
• Stock rotation and management
• Weighing and preparing of ingredients
• Labelling and packaging of baked goods
• Ensuring temperatures are correctly logged and followed

Shift Rota Pattern:

• Friday, Saturday & Sunday, 7am – 7pm
• 1 hour break – 30 mins unpaid, 30 mins paid
• 34.5 paid hours per week over just 3 days!

Essential for the role:

• A passion for food
• Able to get to site for the working hours

The site offers free tea & coffee, free food (all freshly cooked) and all PPE is provided.

Successful candidates will be a pro-active team worker, liaising and co-operating with all members of staff. Operate within the confines of company policy and procedure requirements, including integrity and confidentiality in respect of the business. Abide by health and safety legislation in respect of yourself and others.
