We have an exciting opportunity for a Food Technologist for a leading FMCG food manufacturer in the Cambridgeshire area.
The Technologist will work closely with key customers, driving technical excellence and developing positive working relationships.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a Graduate with c. 2 years industry experience who enjoys a challenge and thrives in a fast paced food manufacturing environment.
THE ROLE
- Develop relationships with all key customer stakeholders
- Function as the main point of contact for your customer base
- Proactively communicate quality to customers, managing all shelf life
- Manage all customer issues and discuss further opportunities playing a pivotal part in the growth and profitable development of customer accounts
- Work collaboratively with operations to identify improvement opportunities in regard to quality performance and efficiency
- Visit sites and supply partners ensuring customer requirements are understood and implemented
- Take the lead on projects
Requirements:
- Previous experience within a technical role within the food industry
- Customer facing experience
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast paced, ever changing environment
- Strong prioritisation skills
- Able to analyse and interpret data
