Experienced Freelance Graphic Designer – Maternity Cover

This is an exciting opportunity to join a vibrant and well-known Events company based in Towcester, who are looking for a experienced Graphic Designer to work alongside their team on a freelance basis of around 20 hours a week.

The Role:

The successful candidate will have a strong portfolio of experience demonstrating all round design skills including typography, layout and web design, designing everything from corporate logo’s to websites and smartphone apps.

You will be able to produce work to a very high standard across many platforms including traditional media and digital medians; from national press advertising to comprehensive glossy programmes and digital design including email campaigns and web graphics and GIFs (google ads etc).

Required Skills:

• Must be of graduate calibre and have a minimum of 3 years work experience
• Expert in InDesign, Illustrator, Powerpoint and MS Word
• Proven ability to print buy
• Be able to work under pressure, with tight deadlines.
• Must be able to prioritise and work as part of a team
• Innovative and creative thinker
• You will need be able to work alone with enthusiasm and have an eye for detail

Desired Skills:

• Photoshop and Mailchimp
• Some knowledge of UI design & motion graphics very beneficial

Hours:

20 hours (office based or remote)

Hours can be flexible Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm)

Additional hours may be required during busy periods.
