We are looking for bright and conscientious individuals to join our Morningside Cheesemongers on a Full Time basis. The ideal candidate must have a genuine love for customer service, a positive attitude and a willingness to learn. Your duties will include:
- Cutting and wrapping cheese
- Sales and recommendations
- Providing a premium service to our loyal customers
- Tasting, checking and overall cheese care
- General cleaning and other tasks set by the Store Manager
- Food preparation and service in our small 20 cover wine bar
To be considered for this position you must have the following qualities:
- Be willing to work weekends
- Be willing to work over the festive period (December)
- Experience in retail or customer facing roles
- A genuine passion for retail and food alike
- Exceptional communication skills and confidence
- Lover of cheese
- No previous cheese knowledge is required however it helps
