Beverley Breakout Escape Rooms is an exciting, expanding business located in the centre of Beverley. We are looking for a keen and enthusiastic person to join our team.
Since we've opened we’ve received amazing reviews (have a look online), and we want it to stay that way. Therefore we’re looking for intelligent, enthusiastic, friendly people to ensure our customers have a fantastic and truly memorable experience. We provide a fun working atmosphere, and we believe in rewarding hard work with good pay and conditions. We are looking for someone who can be flexible with hours*. You must be willing to work weekends, some evenings and school holidays.
The job involves:

• Welcoming customers and carrying out pre-game briefings. You should be a ‘people person’ and 100% confident speaking in front of groups and corporate parties, with a sense of humour and an open style.
• Operating game software and monitoring player behaviour to ensure the safety and enjoyment of players. You will provide appropriate clues according to the skill and experience of each different team, which requires a high level of attention to detail, and quick thinking / reaction time.
• You will debrief teams after their game to round off their experience.
• You will reset the escape room to its original state following set instructions. Again, meticulous attention to detail is a must.
• Flexibility. We’re a team, and all jobs have to be done. Therefore you’ll also carry out other ad-hoc tasks as required, including cleaning, catering, taking team photos, maintenance and preparation of social media.

Must be happy to work with children, dogs and groups.Experience of playing Escape Rooms or hosting is desirable.Interviews will probably involve several stages, and some practical activities.*Hours can be negotiated and more or less could be available for the right candidate.
