We are a small and friendly family run, artisan chocolate manufacturing business, based in Snitterfield near Stratford Upon Avon.

Slabb was born out of a love of interesting food combinations. Why not combine alcohol with chocolate?!

Taking inspiration from our favourite cocktails we started creating delicious flavours such as our classic espresso martini bar made with dark chocolate, coffee liqueur and coffee beans topped with a white chocolate drizzle.

We now produce a large range of seasonal boozy and non-boozy chocolate Slabbs and lollipops from our Warwickshire kitchen.

Job description

We produce chocolate bars and lollipops for online and wholesale customers. We have very busy seasonal periods, and are constantly innovating new products.

There are two main areas to our business; production and packing, and the ideal candidate would assist in both areas. This is a crucial role within the team which enables us to ensure our orders are fulfilled on time and correctly.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Picking and packing goods for online orders and wholesale customers
• Wrapping and labelling products
• Stock control
• Handling products within a clean kitchen environment
• Liaising with multiple departments
• General cleaning and housekeeping duties

The ideal candidate will have:

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work accurately
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Computer literate - will be trained on our in house systems (essential)
• Must be able to be on your feet for full shifts
• Happy to work independently once trained
• Candidates must be numerate and articulate, able to communicate effectively to both management and other team members
• We are in a rural location - access to own transport would be essential
• A love of chocolate!

Hours:

20 hours per week / 4 hours per day, Mon - Fri only.

Flexible in terms of start time, candidate to choose hours between 9am - 3pm.

Salary: From £10.42 per hour
