General Warehouse Operative

WAREHOUSE OPERATIVE required for a busy warehouse in North Glasgow. Due to increase in business, we are expanding the team to support the Warehouse Supervisor.
The role involves heavy lifting and will suit physically fit individual who enjoys working outdoors. Your day to day duties will vary from reworking pallets, cleaning and re-labelling products to prepare them for delivery and assisting with unloading inward bound containers. The period up to July is typically our busy season. You must be readily available for overtime, mostly during weekdays but can be on Saturdays, depending on the operational needs of the business.

• General warehouse and yard experience
• Able to manage heavy loads manually
• Flexible with tasks required
• Available for overtime work
• Able to work independently and a good team member

REMUNERATION

• Hourly rate £11.00 per hour paid weekly, overtime at time and a half
• Discretionary year end bonus for attendance and overtime performance
• 6 month probationary period.
• Permanent full time position.
• Monday to Friday 8.00am – 4.00pm with half hour unpaid lunch break.
• 20 days holiday plus 8 statutory holidays rising to 25 days with services
