Graduate - Finance

Our finance team are looking for 3 solution-focused graduates who want to be part of our graduate scheme where you’ll gain full exposure to our finance department.

You’ll have the opportunity to experience how critical the finance team is to support Aston Martin in the business objectives and overall strategy. You’ll gain invaluable experience working cross-functionally with key support functions such as IT, Legal, HR, and other departments and get to understand, assess, and analyse the financial impacts of business decisions. You’ll get a clear understanding of how each department interlinks into building our ultra-luxury performance cars.

After completing the first year of the graduate scheme you will be enrolled onto our CMI (Chartered Management Institution) level 5 qualification as we love to invest in our colleagues.

You’ll have a well-rounded view of the finance role.

At the end of the two-year scheme, subject to your performance you could have a permanent role within the Aston Martin finance team.

The scheme:

This is a two-year rotational scheme, where you may be spending specific periods gaining invaluable experience and knowledge within our key finance areas including but not limited to: Accounting, reporting, Internal Audit and FP&A (Financial Planning and Analysis)

Timescales

• Week 1 – Onboarding
• Week 2 – 6 Manufacturing rotations
• 1st year – rotations
• 2nd year – home department and enrol into CMI

What you need to join the Aston Martin Graduate Scheme:

• 128 UCAS points at A-Level or in an equivalent qualification
• A minimum 2:1 predicted or gained degree (ideally Finance but not essential).
• Aspiration/commitment to pursue a recognised accounting qualification.
• You’ll have excellent attention to detail with the ability to build rapport and communicate at all levels.
• Commutable to Gaydon – this is a fully onsite role.
• Be able to start on Monday 4th September 2023.
